When i received this pkg.I got a black rocket air blower inside the packaging?? a med.size one..and I also recv’d a huge Red Giotto’s rocket blower?? so I ended up with 2!
Looking at the pkg. I got different things, actually. There is more than enough stuff in this pkg. The black air blower looked small, but its plenty big & strong!
Biggest drawback folks, watch out ordering this product, as there are NO DIRECTIONS ON ANYTHING!. I have alot of money tied up in my camera equip. and was very leary about all of the products.!? but I used a few things, including the air blower, and the brush, and I ended up with more lint than I started with!
Maybe I did something wrong, but how would I know, I had no directions??? duh.
Customer Review: Lens cleaner kit
All the items in the kit work great. The Rocket is big and has lots of air capacity. There is duplication in the kit that I did not expect. The small blower with brush works well. The lens pen has a very nice brush also that gets deep into tight places of the camera. There is a nice lens cloth inside kit and the dealer that I bought from included a complimentary lens cloth with his company logo. The cleaning fluid worked good without streaking. I recommend any of the items in this kit but I think a smaller kit would have been adequate.

Customer Review: Great Wide Normal Choice for a Digital Camera
When used on a Nikon D300 that applies a 1.5 multiplying factor to the length (this 24mm acts like a 36mm on a DX sensor), this lens is clear, collects lights well, and is extremely sharp. This is a great walk-around lens for scenery, touring, quick crowd shots, and snapshots. With this lens, if you can get the shot quickly and in focus, you will have something that can be easily edited (expecially cropped) in a photo-editing program. Highly recommended as a basic “on the camera all the time” lens.

I had a F4 so thought I would jump on the digital train. This camera is like a fine tuned porsche and built like a tank. The pictures are amazing in raw and jpg. Bought a couple for the gran kids and they love them too.

Customer Review: A Wonderful Little Lens
This is my second copy of this lens. I sold my first one when I went digital and didn’t think I would need it anymore. However I found zoom lens were sometimes to large or slow and found myself wanting a fixed prime lens for my Nikon D300. So I bought another one a few months ago and love it. It is the equivalent of a 42mm on my D300 and it stays on the camera most of the time. It is sharp, has beautiful colors and is lightweight. I use it mostly for landscape photography and set the aperture and focus manually for the greatest depth of field.

other then not having the textured body, this think is great, i use big lenses like my 70-300mm nikkor with a 2x teleconvertor, and filter at the end and a lens hood when i am shooting outdoors (80%) of the time, and that is alot of weight, the grip and batteries definetly add some weight to balance that out and gives me alot more holding space, ( i really have big hands) so it’s worth it, the vertical shutter works, but it’s not something i see myself using alot, as im not used to it, but this is a great product and i got it for a great price and has really made a difference.

Am very happy with this product so far. Allows you triple the battery power, as it can hold two camera batteries, plus four double-A batteries, so it will take a long time to burn through all of that battery power. Very convenient if you’re out for a day of shooting and don’t have a way or the desire to be recharging batteries the whole time! Great product, also makes your digital SLR camera taller so it is easier to hold and grip and makes the camera feel more stable overall. Plus I think it just gives the camera a great, stately look! Great product!

Customer Review: BAD Focusing issues.
So my first copy of this lens was complete TRASH! 100% NON USABLE. It had terrible front focusing issues to the point where the edges of every edge were glowing. I was shooting at 1/2000 2.8 - 5.6 and had the same results. I could not be MORE unhappy with this lens.

Customer Review: Faulty clasps again
The bag has a decent amount of space, but very poor construction.
One of the clasp broke in the first couple of days.
This holds my XSI with the 18-55 and 75-300 lenses, filters, charging pack, 2 batteries and my point and shoot camera.

I wanted an inexpensive shutter release to avoid the use of the timer for group photos and long exposures. Although inelegant to have the receive dangling off the camera, the remote works great. The dip switches on the front of the receiver seem hazardous to the operation of the Opteka but, so far, have not presented a probem.

I wish IR technology would just die - long live radio waves! I also wish push-button on/off switches would die - I think its a conspiracy propagated by the battery manufacturers - know what I mean? I take the batteries out before putting it in my camera bag. Also, Opteka’s website has NO support on it - no product documentation that I could find - its just a shopping site - I lost or tossed the little paper it came with, and had to re-figure-out how to get the shutter-button to stay down for trap focusing, all by myself. Still, once its powered up and connected, it works great.
